Girls Junior Varsity Tennis, Girls Varsity Tennis · Girls Tennis Dominates League Finals

 To the Patriot Community!

Thank you so much for your support this season. The Lady Patriots appreciate all you have done to help the coaches, players and staff. After winning the CIF Division II Team Championship last week, Patrick Henry dominated in Eastern League Championships. We had a career high showing with eight Patriots earning All-Eastern League Honors in the Individual Championships.
In singles action, junior Olivia Tracey (18-0) captured the singles title and was named the Eastern League Singles Player of the Year. Junior Toria Tolley (34-2)  had an outstanding season and finished 3rd in a field of seven teams and over 80 players. Patriot freshman Angie Bertino was a quarterfinalist and sophomore Dana Bui reached the round of 16.
It was an all Patrick Henry domination in league doubles action this season. Congrats to Eastern League Doubles Champions junior Michele Nguyen and freshman Skylar Hilmer (18-3), who were named the league’s Doubles Players of the Year. Fantastic finalists were Patriot seniors Avery Swain and Amanda Martin (25-1), and Patriot junior Hannah Albright and freshman Laura Burger (27-1) earned 3rd place in league. Other Patrick Henry doubles competitors were seniors Amy Nguyen and Julia Hong, who reached the quarterfinals. Patriot teams who finished in the first round were junior Donna Tran and senior Jonna Carey, and freshman Chloe Yacoub and sophomore Mackenzie Smith.
Next week, the eight Lady Patriot All-League players will compete in the CIF San Diego Individual Tournament starting on Monday, November 4.
Thank you again for your support.
With appreciation,
Coaches Karen, Paul and Cheryll
