The San Diego Union-Tribune looks at the 2020 Football headlines and players to watch. The Patriots look to build on an explosive offense led by Elijaih Lux and Kai Jessie.
Elijaih Lux, RB, Patrick Henry: Section that produced Heisman Trophy winners Marcus Allen, Rashaan Salaam, Ricky Williams and Reggie Bush loaded at the position again. Lux is physical for his 5-foot-8 size. In 2019, Lux rushed for 1,306 yards and 15 touchdowns, 209 yards receiving with 2 touchdowns, and threw for 2 touchdowns.
Kai Jessie, WR, Patrick Henry: In his first year, it didn’t take Kai long to figure it out. Kai finished with 972 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns.
