Wrestling Wins Southwest Raiders Invitational

Southwest High School held the inaugural Southwest Raiders Invitational tournament on January 19th. Patrick Henry attended with 21 athletes and ended with 15 of them placing from 1st to 6th place, our own Gavin Hingtgen (12) and Richard Dauti (11)  placed 1st in the 147 lbs weight class and Heavyweight division, respectively. On January 12th, the Varsity wrestling team attended the 43rd annual Jim Londos Memorial tournament for the first time in eight years. The varsity wrestling team took 2nd out of twenty teams that attended the 17th annual Bud Harbin Invitational Battle by the Beach on December 1, 2018.
